Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri was an Indian actress who achieved notoriety for her roles in the films Hum Aapke Haiin Koun as well as Beta Saajan. The actress was initially famous for her 1980s role in Tezaab where she co-starred along with the veteran actor Anil Koopor. In her next film Dil, Aamir Khan appeared alongside her. In Mumbai her home, she grew up within a middle class family parents. As a child, she began to learn about age, she started to take dance lessons. When she was still in high school, she tried her hand at acting, however most of those early films did not succeed. Eventually, she found success in Indian filmmaking and rose to the very top. In the aftermath of her wedding ceremony, she took a brief absence from acting until she returned. Recently, she had a major role to play in Gulaab Gang a movie about the struggle of Indian women. Dixit has been nominated for fifteen Filmfare Awards. Of these, she has won 8. Padma Shri was awarded to her, which is India's fourth highest civil honor. The award was also given to her for her efforts in the social sector.
