Christopher Robert Evans (born June 13th, 1981) is an American actor. His career began with performances in television shows including Opposite Sex in 2000. Following appearances in several teens' films, including 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he became famous for his portrayal of Marvel Comics character the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and the sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans made further appearances in the film adaptations of comics and graphic novels: TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) and Snowpiercer (2013). His portrayal of Captain America/Steve Rogers was in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014 (2015), 2014), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame 2019, brought him more fame. He became one of the highest paid actors in the world because of his work for the Marvel franchise.
